Angelina Jolie has hit back at admirers of super-thin celebrities, asking people not to compliment under weight women.
The Tom Raider star was herself praised for her emaciated frame, after she shrank several dress sizes, following the death of her mother last year. The 32-year old said that she would rather be criticized for losing weight, in order to stop young girls following suit.
“People think it is a compliment to say to someone, ‘You’re thin.’ But it really isn’t,”
She said.
“In fact, I like it better when people say I’m too thin, Then I think, ‘Good, good, tell everyone and let it be a criticism ’ I do not want to be too thin, because it’s not healthy,” she added.
And some other news
February began with supermodel Naomi Campbell dropping a bombshell at Berlin Fashion Week that racism existed in fashion industry and black models were being discriminated against.
But there are people in the industry who prefer dark skin, though. But their acceptance that Photoshop is used quite often gives up the secret.
A photographer says that he prefers dark skin tone as it helps high light the clothes. So, if you ask him he has a preference for dark skin. In fact, he uses technology to give a darker tint to the face. The truth is that skin tone takes the backseat when you have technology at your command.
